WHY POOR PEOPLE ARE POOR.
A lady asked me a question that confused me for few minutes.
She asked... "IS POVERTY A CHOICE OR A CURSE".
Actually, I didn't understand the question that moment, so I asked her to wait for me to think about it before I can give her an answer.
This was my answer "YES, POVERTY IS A CHOICE"
I know you are wondering, why answer it that way, don't worry I will make you understand "HOW POVERTY CAN BE A CHOICE".
Before I move on, let me give you the meaning of poverty.
According Google, Poverty is the state of being inferior in quality or insufficient in amount.
I will like you to underline the words "inferior and insufficient".
If you look around the world today, you will see that most people are in poverty because they are thinking that they are not good enough to do anything, maybe this may happen because of their environment, friends, parents and families. And because of this, they can not succeed in whatever the do in their life.
The Bible has made it cleared that whatever a man conceived in his heart, he will have it.
The same phenomenon is applied to life.
Poverty is a choice most people made ignorantly, I used the word ignorantly because most people chose poverty without knowing.
One of the ways they chose poverty is by their thinking. I realized that a man can be in Poverty because of his mentality.
Whatever we become in life is totally dependent on what we have in our mind. Our characters, actions and behaviors are the expression of what we are thinking.
So if you want to become Rich change your mentality, change the way you see things in your environment.
Don't accept poverty. Someone once said that nobody has ever been defeated until defeat is accepted as a reality.
