Lesson from coding
I like it when my instructor started this class at Grand Style Computer Academy, being a person who loves computer, I was in love with computer especially when it comes to web development.
This is how it started, I learnt the skill of coding from my instructor in the person of Obong Nkem, I knew that I would become one of the best computer users who can develop a website that attract the world's attention like my mentor.
It was not easy from the beginning, I can still remember how I used to go to school by 6am just to attend web development classes.
How to be the best web developer was ringing in my mind everyday I woke up, I can remember how I stayed with my laptop from 7pm to 2am just to learn how to put image on my website which I spent one week to developed it.
The truth is, I couldn't put image on my website because my coding was wrong.
Sometimes, I would be angry with my sisters who were in the room very close to my room. STOP MAKING A NOISE was the slang I used whenever I started coding.
The glitches I experience in to putting image on my website was rising every moment I failed to use the correct coding, I never dreamed to stop coding just because I couldn't put image on my website, rather I spent more time to do research on how to put image on web development.
I spent money, time and energy just to learn this small thing 😀😀😀 I know you may wonder why I called it small thing, don't worry you will know as you continue to read 🤣🤣.
Some of the research I did was not really on web development, one of relevant research I did was on this book 'THE POWER OF YOUR MIND' which was given to me by my mentor #DanielAfiakurue.
I learnt from this book that the first thing I need to do to put image on my website is to convince my mind that I can do it.
Convincing my mind was not easy but I tried to do it because it was necessary to do it before I can become the best web developer.
I started speaking to myself everyday I woke up, I would stood in front of mirror and said good morning the great web developer. I would smiled and encourage myself as if I was talking to my younger sister who likes asking me questions whenever she comes back from school.
I began to put all that I learnt into practices and I finally put the image on my website after two weeks.
I learnt that the must important thing I must do to become successful in life is to change the way of looking at things, you must believe in your mind that you are well able to do it.
I started believing in my mind that I can get there even though I don't have want it takes for me to be there, but I believe that I am already there, I must see it with the eyes of my mind, I must dreamed it, I must speak it to my subconscious mind, and I must work towards it to make it come to reality.
